About the role
This role will support the Project Manager in the following tasks:
- Project initiation including design management, development of cost plans and programmes.
- Developing procurement strategy, tender development and review, contract negotiation, preparation, and execution.
- Managing the head contractor, ensuring time, cost, and contractual obligations are met.
- Managing project programme, cost control, reporting and resolving any issues with contractors.
- Contract management, review, and approvals of claims and variations, EOT’s, RFI’s and progress inspections.
- Project finalisation and handover.
About you
You will have:
- Degree qualifications in a relevant field or strong experience in the construction sector.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Contract Administrator or similar role.
- Experience working for a consultancy or contractor.
- Well organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a meticulous, well-organised nature.
- Drive, enthusiasm and dedication to delivering high quality results for your client.
