About the role

This role will support the Project Manager in the following tasks:

  • Project initiation including design management, development of cost plans and programmes.
  • Developing procurement strategy, tender development and review, contract negotiation, preparation, and execution.
  • Managing the head contractor, ensuring time, cost, and contractual obligations are met.
  • Managing project programme, cost control, reporting and resolving any issues with contractors.
  • Contract management, review, and approvals of claims and variations, EOT’s, RFI’s and progress inspections.
  • Project finalisation and handover.

About you

You will have:

  • Degree qualifications in a relevant field or strong experience in the construction sector.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Contract Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience working for a consultancy or contractor.
  • Well organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous, well-organised nature.
  • Drive, enthusiasm and dedication to delivering high quality results for your client.
