About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you’ll be responsible for business development and the strategic commercial growth across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Relationship Builder: Drive strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and business goals.
- Financial Analysis: Undertake financial modelling for business growth opportunities, including new contract opportunities and growth areas with existing contracts.
- Operational Effectiveness: Review existing operations and supplier agreements in order to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Risk Management: Negotiate contracts and work within the company’s commercial risk parameters and business rules.
- Strategic: Contribute to the business’s strategic direction across NSW & QLD.
About you:
We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Manager who embodies the following experience and qualifications:
- Influencer: Skilled at identifying and influencing decision makers.
- Negotiator: A track recorded in establishing supply agreements whilst navigating commercial risks.
- Analytical: A data-driven approach and an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Collaborative: Strong communication skills and an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Qualified: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
