The role:
- Manage the end-to-end tender process for multiple categories across the organisation
- Working with internal stakeholders to analyse requirements and develop detailed scopes, ensuring key outcomes will be met
- Contract management including reviewing supplier performance and KPI’s
- Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes
- Creating new contracts ensuring commercial, contractual and performance risks are assessed
- Negotiation and execution of supplier contracts while ensuring internal compliance requirements are met
- Liaise and collaborate with external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships with suppliers/services to achieve optimal value and efficiency
- Provide recommendations to internal stakeholders on best practice procurement processes
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, business, law, commerce, or relevant industry experience
- Strong procurement and/or contracts administrator experience, managing the end-to-end tendering and award process (experience within the mining/construction industry is advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Knowledge and experience in contracts management, contracts law, negotiation and category management
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
