The role
As a full-time Draftsperson your role is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for food processing production systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Engineers and Designers: Interpreting specifications and working closely with team members to develop detailed designs.
- Utilising Drafting Software: Using SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Conducting Site Visits: Visiting project sites to gather necessary information and ensure designs align with practical requirements.
- Ensuring Accuracy and Compliance: Maintaining high standards of accuracy and adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
About you
- Diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong ability to create and interpret detailed technical drawings and blueprints.
- Understanding of food processing systems and associated machinery is desirable.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well within a team setting.
- Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing, or engineering is advantageous.
