The role
A fantastic opportunity awaits for an aspiring Leading Hand eager to advance their career within the construction industry.
The right candidate will:
- Manage daily and weekly scheduling of work.
- Coordinate and supervise trades and suppliers on site.
- Order materials and plant/equipment.
- Read and interpret plans and/or architectural drawings.
- Provide progress updates to clients and the project manager.
- Work with the supervisor and engineers to resolve any design and construction issues.
About you
- Trade qualifications in Carpentry.
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand/Supervisor role.
- Current driver’s license.
- Reliable and a clear communication skills.
- A team player with proven leadership skills.
- Solutions focused problem solver.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
