About the role
The structures leading hand will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Manage daily and weekly scheduling of work.
- Coordinate and supervise trades and suppliers on site.
- Order materials and plant/equipment.
- Read and interpret plans and/or architectural drawings.
- Assist with providing progress updates.
- Work with the supervisor and engineers to resolve any design and construction issues.
About you
- Experience in a similar role delivering commercial or multi-level residential projects.
- Well organised, strong work ethic, enthusiastic, motivated, honest, high level of integrity.
- Trade qualifications in Carpentry.
- Previous experience in a Leading Hand/Supervisor role.
- Reliable and a clear communication skills.
- A team player with proven leadership skills.
- Solutions focused problem solver.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
