The role
- Manage the end-to-end tender process for routine activities including planning, tender development, releasing to market, evaluation, negotiation and award of contract.
- Create new contracts ensuring commercial, contractual and performance risks are managed.
- Implement best practice procurement and contract management frameworks, plans and processes.
- Contract management, ensuring appropriate processes and procedures are followed to manage financial and performance outcomes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and services providers to achieve optimal value and efficiency while mitigating risks.
- Provide advice to stakeholders on contractual issues, potential solutions, and dispute resolution.
About you
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience managing the end-to-end tendering and award process for ICT, service or consulting contracts.
- Experience working within large enterprise, government and/or consulting environments.
- Relationship focused with strong communication and problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong supplier relationships to achieve a mutually beneficial partnership.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
