ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of electrical related contracts associated with Capex projects throughout regional NSW. This role offers flexibility on location, with a requirement of one week per month to be spent on-site, and all associated travel expenses covered.
Ensuring each project runs smoothly and efficiently, you will bring strong commercial acumen and expertise in the execution of projects. Ideally, you will offer skills and experience in the following areas:
- The ability to write comprehensive scopes of work.
- Issue RFI’s / RFQ’s and provide recommendations.
- Review designs and procure electrical infrastructure on behalf of the end user.
- Appoint and manage subcontractors.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts.
ABOUT YOU
- A Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
- A proven track record as a Senior Project Engineer within the mining and resources industry.
- A strong background in EPCM projects.
- Proactive nature with a history of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
