ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of electrical related contracts associated with CapEx projects throughout regional NSW.
Ensuring each project runs smoothly and efficiently, you will bring strong commercial acumen and expertise in the design review, equipment specifications and execution of projects. Ideally, you will offer skills and experience in the following areas:
- The ability to write comprehensive scopes of work.
- Issue RFI’s / RFQ’s and provide recommendations.
- Liaise with Engineering Consultants design reviews and specifications
- Procure electrical infrastructure on behalf of the end user.
- Appoint and manage subcontractors.
- Contract Management.
ABOUT YOU
- A Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- A proven track record as a Senior Project Engineer within the mining, resources or heavy industrial industries.
- A strong background in EPCM or D&C projects.
- Proactive nature with a history of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
