One of the regions largest asset owners is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team and manage the delivery of minor works projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key tasks & responsibilities will include:
- Working with asset team to identify short to medium term minor works requirements.
- Development and distribution of RFQ’s and RFT’s to relevant trades, including detailed scope of works.
- Monitor project progress against budget and programme to identify any issues.
- Contract management, review, and approval of claims and variations.
- Maintenance of asset register to ensure it remains up to date and accurate.
- Onboarding of new contractors ensuring relevant documentation is up to date and filed.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator in a similar role.
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities / Asset Management.
- Strong time management, process driven with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop relationships with a range of stakeholders.
