Who are we:

Founded in 2020, we are the regions’ only dedicated recruitment agency for Engineering, Procurement and Project Delivery. Think Engineers, Construction Managers, Project Managers, Procurement Officers etc. These are the people we interact with each and every working day.

We are busy, growing and we need to support our current and future clients find the key people they need to help their business thrive.

What will I be doing?

In the world of agency recruitment, you need clients, and candidates. Both are equally important. Clients are employers, they pay you a fee for your service. Candidates are the people your clients need in their business. Your job is to find a match. It’s a lot harder than just posting an advert on a job board and swiping left or right on dating site. Candidates don’t grow on trees like avocados and AI often muddies the water.
  
As a Recruitment Consultant you’ll be;
  

  • On the phone, making sales calls (Not Wolf of Wall Street style, things have moved on since the 90’s), speaking with existing and new clients, identifying opportunities to engage and provide assistance.
  • Meeting with clients to gain an understanding of their business, purpose, team structure, culture, ideal candidates, what’s negotiable and what’s not. In our industry, people buy from people.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements, fee agreements and salaries on behalf of candidates.
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, writing adverts, posting adverts, networking, exploring referrals, conducting a targeted search, speaking to, meeting with and interviewing candidates, generating shortlists, organising interviews, facilitating feedback (positive and negative), offer management and post placement care.

  
Unicorns don’t exist and hens have no teeth, what we’re saying is good candidates are hard to find and it’s our job to dig deep, rip in and find them.
  
About you:

Confident, but not cocky, approachable, inquisitive, and someone who can build rapport quickly. Your friends will describe you as someone they can trust and rely on, someone who does the right thing. You’ll be an influencer (not the Instagram kind), resilient, financially driven and can smell bullsh*t a mile away. Unfortunately, some people lie or exaggerate the truth to increase their chances of securing their next job.

You may be a Talent Sourcing Specialist looking for more of a challenge. You could be a frustrated recruiter, not loving your desk or your manage. You may want to earn more commission or find the company has become a little too woke, too many “marketing days” or just simply caught up in too much red tape. Who knows. You don’t necessarily need to have recruitment experience either. You may work in retail, hospitality, HR, marketing, Real Estate of other sales environments. You may even have experience in Construction, Engineering or Procurement and be looking for a change. 
  
What we offer:

We’re flexible and approachable, we can support hybrid or an office based work environment. You can work part-time or full-time, we have families and know how unpredictable life can be – just don’t take the p1ss! In addition to 4 weeks standard annual leave, you’ll also receive additional leave covering the time between Christmas and the NY. 

Along with a base salary that will cover more than bread and baked beans, you’ll be paid weekly and have the opportunity to earn monthly commission. The more placements you make, the more money you make.
  
Training will be a mix of hands on, 1:1 in the office complimented by external, virtual training delivered by some of the industries’ leading experts.

We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we do take our work seriously.
