Senior Development Manager

One of the regions most respected property developers is currently seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join their team here in Newcastle.

The role

This position represents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and adaptable property development professional to work as part of a committed and outcomes‐oriented team.

This is a true development management role, managing the entire process from acquisition through to disposal/management of the property.

Engaging with stakeholders including councils, state government bodies, project consultants, and contractors, you’ll build strong relationships, develop solutions to complex problems and promote a collaborative environment that drives programmes.

You’ll have strong experience identifying and securing assets, engaging with consultants and contractors through the design, development, and construction process, through to marketing and sale of the property.

All this will be underpinned by superior programme and financial management skills that ensure each project delivers the best possible outcome for the business.

About you

As an experienced professional who thrives in a challenging and progressive environment, you present with the following attributes:

  • Extensive experience in full-lifecycle development management.
  • Degree qualifications in property development, property economics, planning, engineering or construction management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management experience, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Collaborative team player who’ll positively contributes to the business.
  • Thrives in challenging environments, making quick decisions and thinking outside of the box to solve problems.
