Contract Administrator


This is an exciting opportunity with a large contractor best known for their ability to deliver high quality aged care, health, education, industrial and retail projects across the country. The company hold an enviable reputation as a leading head contractor, demonstrating a wide variety of outstanding building and engineering projects along the east coast of Australia.
Here in Newcastle, they have an established team of local professionals well networked across the region and due to continued growth, are looking for a Contract Administrator to join their team.


  • Support the team in contract preparation including the development of scope of works
  • Tender preparation, submission review and assessment
  • Negotiation of contract terms and conditions
  • Contract management including reviewing variations, assessing and processing claims
  • Project cost reporting
  • Performing tasks at the direction of the Project Manager 


  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
  • Previous experience as a Contract Administrator with commercial construction sector
  • Extremely driven and eager to develop your career with a leading builder
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Not afraid to ask questions in order to achieve the best results 
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in an ever-changing industry
