The role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager a key element to the Mechanical Engineering position is working directly with new and existing clients to design, develop and improve equipment.
Key responsibilities include;
- Work directly with clients to identify and solve issues.
- Generate specifications and conceptualise 3D drawings for final product development.
- Uphold design standards to guarantee compliance with regulations, implementation of best practices, and fulfilment of client specifications.
- Support the manufacturing and testing processes for product development.
- Independently manage small-scale projects.
About you
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Competent user of AutoDESK Inventor 3D Modelling
- FEA experience using Nastran
- Ability to deal directly with customers, identify issues and talk through solutions
- Own and manage small projects from start to finish
