The role 

Reporting to the Engineering Manager a key element to the Mechanical Engineering position is working directly with new and existing clients to design, develop and improve equipment.  

Key responsibilities include;

  • Work directly with clients to identify and solve issues.
  • Generate specifications and conceptualise 3D drawings for final product development.
  • Uphold design standards to guarantee compliance with regulations, implementation of best practices, and fulfilment of client specifications.
  • Support the manufacturing and testing processes for product development.
  • Independently manage small-scale projects.

About you 

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  • Competent user of AutoDESK Inventor 3D Modelling
  • FEA experience using Nastran
  • Ability to deal directly with customers, identify issues and talk through solutions
  • Own and manage small projects from start to finish
