The role
Due to strong growth from national and international clients, an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong understanding of Hydraulic design exists. The main purpose of this position is to design, develop and trouble shoot fluid power systems for underground mining equipment that is used in production and development applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the design and development of fluid power systems adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Interpret hydraulic schematics drawings.
- Coordinate testing activities including fault finding.
- Provide expert guidance and advice to other team members and clients.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge and experience of industrial hydraulic systems, ideally within the mining industry.
- Competent using AutoCAD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
